Parlaq Imzalar
Visual Identity and Logo
Created a distinctive visual identity for Parlaq Imzalar, a respected Azerbaijani publishing house established in 2013. The design reflects their commitment to quality translations from 13 languages and their pioneering ‘translation from the original’ principle, capturing the essence of their literary expertise and reader-focused approach.
In creating the visual identity for Parlaq Imzalar, I aimed to capture the essence of this innovative publishing house through a thoughtful and symbolic design process. The logo concept ingeniously marries two key elements: the hexagonal shape, inspired by the cross-section of a pencil, represents the fundamental tool of writing and creativity. Within this shape, a four-pointed star symbolizes ‘Parlaq’ (meaning ‘Shine’), while the overall form alludes to ‘Imza’ (meaning ‘signature’).
